This is pretty F***ing Pathetic, I mean, I give Gearbox credit for picking up the franchise, but to think that they have denied us Borderland Game of the Year owners Access as of yet to the Demo and that the game has yet again been delayed. It's frustrating considering titles such as Alien Colonial Marines will most likely get cancelled due to the shift of focus to Duke Nukem. Also, those of whom have Pre-ordered the game and felt as though they are finally going to get hold of the game, ...
I can imagine a tech demo for what could be achieved, but to be honest, I want to see more games to the standard of Gears of War 3 an Crysis 2's graphical capabilities before an announcement is made, we are consistently seing that the Xbox 360 can handle more than percieved and being primarily a 360 gamer myself, its fantastic to see...
Whilst the game is Stunning, I found the graphics to be slightly overrated. The platforming mechanics felt fluid and the animations were beautiful but the game fell short with its shooting mechanics in my opinion. Also, I found the game in places to be annoyingly unrealsistic, with he prime example being the car jumping sequence. The prospect of taking cover in the back of a pickup truck during a chase was interesting, but spoilt with each vehicle being set alight in a matter of seconds forci...
Good, not only was ign's list often neglected, but the games featured were terrible choices. Whilst I myself perhaps haven't payed enough attention to the Indie Marketplace, I have purchased a number of titles, and perhaps Kotaku can do a better job of highlighting the hidden gems...
Exile could be a reference to that of Marcus being imprisoned and released from the COG due to his disobeying of orders when saving his father. I find the rumours of this being a Kinect title to be more plausible, what with Cliffy B showing strong interest to the hardware and with Microsoft on the announcement of Gears of War 3 stating that they already can confirm there will be more titles.
However, this could always be the final unnannounced Novel linked to the franchise by Karen T...
So, we can see a number of actors frequently used in projects by J.J.Abrams. A seemingly heavy focus on dialogue, perhaps hinting at an in-depth conversation system (Similar to those used in Bethesda and Bioware titles). It could be assumed that the Countdown is for the games release, what with the teaser trailer hinting towards an April release date. I however expect the project or game to be a completely downloadable title using Real-Footage with multiple outcomes to be decided by the gamer...
I've often referred to E3 as, "A Gamers Early Christmas", and thats because it is just that. Whilst we sometimes have to deal with disapointments, but more than usual we find something we love from the event. (Mine is always the Gears of War Gameplay but everyone has their own)
Cliffy B is a Legend of the Video Games Industry, I will never understand the hate directed towards him from the N4G Community... Oh wait, most of them are PS3 Fanboys. Grow up guy's, he's a fantastic Design Director, one of the best in the industry and his games are the best I've ever had the honour to play.
Yes, we've all (across each platform) had a Brilliant year of sequels, next would be perfect to introduce a series of new IP's.
Why would only big time fans be happy with another installment? Perhaps its the prospect of Kratos potentially not being involved, or maybe its the fear that the franchise could loose its touch with more and more titles. Or MAYBE, REAL Fan's are content with what they have...
Let's leave Kratos' story, allow the audience to interpret his fate in their own manner. Did he crawl off the cliff-edge in the hopes of being with his family in the afterlife? Did he survive? Let us decide and move on to another new fantastic IP.
I want a game to the fantastic standard of Spiderman 2, the greatest Superhero game of all time. And Spidermans greatest moment in the Video Games Industry...
You took the words right out of my mouth. Screw you Kotick for destroying a once brilliant franchise. *Thinks about what was just said* Destroying many once brilliant franchises!
Prove this ISN'T the Xbox 360 Version...
Not people, Sheep.
I submitted this hours ago, soon after it had been released and had no indication of it preciously being added, apologies nonetheless, but when I added the story, there wasn't anyother by the same name and the only other story to come up in possible duplicates was from days ago and not this video.
Two characters from one of the highest-grossing and popular film franchises of all time? Kratos wouldn't have fit in with the Soul Caliber franchise, however, he fits in well with the gory traditions of the Mortal Kombat franchise...
No, because they'll still charge full price for Modern Warfare 3 despite it being yet another recycle of COD 4, despite Battlefield 3 being released in all its glory. Man, I hope DICE don't just steal their thrown, I hope they dethrown them painfully, taking their players and sales...
As long as its not part of the main franchise and just a spin-off , much like "Resident Evil Outbreak" was to Capcoms franchise, I wouldn't mind. However, it would need balancing in order to maintain fear. Ideas being for:
- The 2 players to continuously be seperated
- Scarce ammunition
- stronger opponents & more
Personally, I'm hating that THQ have jumped on the bandwagon and are milking COD's undeserved success. I can see the "Homefront 3" announcement articles early next year. *Sigh* Another year another Milking of a Modern FPS about to commense...
